A porcelain cachepot vase from the Rainhas de Portugal collection by Vista Alegre, dedicated to Rainha Santa Isabel — Queen of Portugal from 1282 to 1325, canonised in 1625, and celebrated for her extraordinary devotion to peace and the poor. The legend of the Miracle of the Roses remains one of Portugal's most beloved stories. Designed by Hélia Aluai, the piece honours her through delicate red and gold filigree-inspired decoration on fine white porcelain.
The Rainhas de Portugal collection by Vista Alegre pays homage to six enchanting queens from Portugal's history — Inês de Castro, Rainha Santa Isabel, D. Maria II, D. Amélia, D. Estefânia and D. Leonor. Fascinating and complex figures portrayed with great sensitivity by designer Hélia Aluai, inspired by delicate filigree work, a typically Portuguese ornamental technique. The colours chosen — red and gold — express the passion associated with these women, as well as the cultural richness they evoke.
Made in Portugal by Vista Alegre. A decorative piece and a meaningful gift for lovers of Portuguese history and fine porcelain.
