Vista Alegre Rainhas de Portugal Sugar Bowl – Porcelain

A porcelain sugar bowl from the Rainhas de Portugal collection by Vista Alegre, decorated in the red and gold palette that characterises this series. Every surface tells the story of Portugal's queens through the delicate language of filigree, transformed into porcelain by designer Hélia Aluai. Dimensions 11.9×11.9×6.2 cm.

The Rainhas de Portugal collection pays homage to six queens from Portugal's history: Inês de Castro, Rainha Santa Isabel, D. Maria II, D. Amélia, D. Estefânia and D. Leonor. Complex figures portrayed with great sensitivity by designer Hélia Aluai, inspired by filigree, a typically Portuguese ornamental technique. The colours, red and gold, express the passion of these women and the cultural richness they evoke.

Made in Portugal by Vista Alegre. Dishwasher safe on short cycles at low temperatures. Not suitable for microwave. A gift for lovers of Portuguese history, culture and fine porcelain.
