The asalato is a traditional West African percussion instrument: two small dried gourds connected by a string, played by creating a rhythmic swinging and clacking motion. Simple to pick up, expressive in skilled hands. Available in red, yellow, purple, white and black. Made for music education, rhythm workshops or anyone who wants a tactile, physical connection to sound. An unusual gift for curious musicians and music educators.
